you enter a bar, the fumes of cigar smoke waft and surround you. you pause and look around, youre meeting someone but you have no idea what he looks like, you only know that hes a wolf. you spot a man sitting in a booth alone with great big ears , you sit infornt of him. he makes no eye contact, but blows his cigar smoke straight at you. "you wanna help me with a [[job]]?" the wolf spoke in a deep gravely voice, and then took another puff of his cigar. you think for a moment, but your thoughts are derailed by the sound of [[construction]] outside the bar, it peaks your interest, what could possibly be making this much racket so close to a bar? your thoughts are intrupted once again by the wolf leaning in and repeating his question, "so? are you in or not?" he couhed out through smoke. do you check out the construction or do you stick around and see what job the wolf has to offer you block out the noise outside and look back to the wolf, he had only breifly told you what the job was for, but it was so vague that you have trouble making up your mind. "what will the job intail?" you ask, "demolition" the wolf harshly replies. you arent one for big commotions, but youve had your fair share of explosive work. "demolitions for what? do you work for the city?" you question, "keep asking questions like that and you can forget the job was ever offered to ya'" he huffs in more cigar "youre either in or you can go home, kid" do you [[go home]] because hes sketchy or do you [[do the job]]you look back to the wolf, but you cant calm the curiosity of the outside noises, without another word you get up and leave. "stupid kid" you hear the wolf grunt out as you close the door. outside the building you do a quick scan, but you cant seem to see anything that looks like construction, suddenly a loud bang echoes from behind you and you whip around. right behind the building is a huge field, and just far enough in the distance you see what looks lke the making of three little homes, you can see three people each working on a home. you question why theyd mak homes so far from the town and why they dont have any more help, should you go help the or is it none of your business? do you [[help the mysterious people]] or do you [[go home]] to bedwhat an odd experience that was, you think as you enter your home. you can still hear very distant construction, but yu dont let it peak your interest, its late. you make some warm milk, curl up in bed, and drift off to sleep. the endyou nod your head in agreement, "ill do th job". the wolf bares a sly grin as the cigar hangs out the side of his mouth, "perfect", he grabs papers from a small bag next to him and slides them infront of you. you sprawl out the three papers and read them thuroughly, each of them depict a different part of the job, theyre all titled 'no more pigs'. "these are your options," the wolf starts, " you creak open the rusted door, the frame is peeled back and torn, in front of you are stairs up that seem a bit lighter and less cobwebbed and stairs down that are seemingly patch black. you decide going up seems safer, you walk up the torn carpet of the stairs. you're faced with exploring either the big open [[kitchen]] in front of you the dusted [[living room]] to your left or the dark [[hallway]] to your right i hcanged my mind, this is far too scary! im getting out of here! [[leave|Ending 1]]you inch forward into the kitchen, the tiled floor beneath you is cracked and covered in dirt, all of the [[cabinets]] around you or open and almost empty. There's flies swarming something on the [[stove]] and you can hear more coming from inside the fridge, you decide it's better not to look in there, you don’t know what could be hiding. You take careful steps towards the window over the sink and notice a sliding door that would lead you onto the deck, you almost go out but see the rotted wood floors and think its better to not fall through, you go back to the entrance by the [[stairs|front door]] you go to your left to see a dusted over, forgotten, living room. There's a couch covered in dirt and blankets and left behind [[stuffed animals]], the rug on the floor is matted and torn, and the fireplace is covered by broken furniture. dusted over pictures cover the wall, you can barely make out the silhouette of a family in some of them. You carefully step over children’s toys and an [[old dog bed]] to try and get to the fireplace, you pull at broken furniture but suddenly hear something moving from behind them. do you retreat back to the [[stairs|front door]] or continue trying to get to the [[fireplace]]? you enter the seemingly endlessly dark hallway, you pull out a flashlight and slowly make your way, being cautious of anything that may be hiding within the dark. you make out four doors, two to your left and two to your right. the first door to your left is labeled [[bathroom]] and next to it is a door with a torn picture of the family on it, you assume the [[parents room]] across from it is a door covered in pink princess and ladybug stickers, a [[little girls room]] and finally the last door is unlabeled, you assume it belong to the other child in the pictures, the [[little boys room]] ditch checking out creepy rooms and [[leave|Ending 1]]the door slowly creaks open, you’re immediately hit with the smell of mold and debris. You look around and see murky dark water in the [[tub]] with something slowly moving in it. across from the tub was a huge [[mirror]], broken and dirty, you can barely see yourself. You try to turn the sink on but all that comes out is thick black sludge, ‘gross’, you mutter and turn it off. you don’t even want to think about what could be fermented in the toilet, it seems to be slowly leaking the same black sludge that came out of the sink. you think its best to [[leave|hallway]] and check out the other rooms. [img[https://just-a-bug.neocities.org/BR.jpeg]]You go to open the door but it's seemingly stuck, you push with all your strength and the door finally gives way, you look to see what was blocking it and it looks like a mound of clothes spilling out of the [[closet]] next to the door. They smell like rotting…something. You look around the room, there’s a big bed right in the middle, but it's covered in something gross and dark and all the blankets have been thrown about the floor. On the other side of the bed is a big [[window]], but it's broken and boarded up, a slight breeze is coming in. And at the end of the room is another door, you try to open it but its bolted shut, you hear something scratch the other side of the door and you feel the curiosity come back nope, dont want to risk it, [[leave|hallway]] OPEN THE [[OTHER DOOR]]you open the brightly decorated door to the little girls room, it's a stark contrast to the dark and dim presentation of the rest of the house. You step in and look around, to your right is a homemade [[dollhouse]], and in front of you is a [[big window]]. You see more family pictures hung on the walls next to you, next to the window is a tall loft bed, the bottom is broken through, it's barely a bed now. Colourful blankets and stuffed animals covered the broken scene, untouched and covered in dirt, you see a small [[bear]]. You get an overwhelming sense of Deja vu go back to the [[hallway]].The door to this room is the easiest to open, the inside is dusted over and has an overwhelming smell of mold and decay. You notice a dark [[fungus]] growing from the window. You look around, the [[bed]] is neatly set with toys and clothes thrown around on top, you make your way to a desk set in front of the window. Overdue library books and papers are all over, along with a small [[fishtank]] to the left, you figure that's where the smell is coming from. You turn around to see a closet, it's mostly empty aside from a few sweaters barely hanging up and some blankets stacked on a shelf, you go to try and close one of the closet doors and a small picture falls out. pick up [[picture]] [[leave|hallway]]you take a closer look at the cabinets, half of them are flung open and covered in some sort of gross sticky black substance, you dont dare smell it. in the corner of a cabinet closest to you, you see a black widow sitting in her web, shes devouring some kind of smaller bug, you shouldnt disturb her. none of them are stocked with anything edible anymore, you can make out some boxes of crackers, but the decay has gotten to them. there isnt anything else left for you to look at here, better go [[back|kitchen]] to looking elsewhere you decide to take a little closer of a look at whatever has fermented on the stove. theres a covered stockpot left there and the closer you get to it the more rancid the air becomes, do you want to open it? [[yes!]] im too curious what could have been cooking [[no!]] that smells terrible i dont want to get sickyou cant help but just inch a bit closer, you reach out and grasp the handle of the lid and slowly lift it. a cloud of dark spores fumes out at you, you drop the lid and start coughing, but you cant seem to get any air in. you colapse to the ground, gasping for air, your vision starts to blur. and suddenly, youve lost conciousness. [[keep it with you|living room]] [[set it back down|living room]]you kneel down and and tug at what looks like a broken desk, youre able to break a few small pieces of wood off but the ret isnt budging. suddenly you hear something move from behind the barrier [[keep trying]], youre just too curious [[retreat|living room]], you dont want to find out what that is you step closer to the tub, the water ripples as if theres something swimming beneath it, you crouch down, immediately needing to cover your face with your shirt as the smell is too strong. you hesitate to touch the water, maybe you should look for something to stick in it use your bare [[hands]] find a [[tool]]you move closer and pull a rag from your pocket, you try to wipe the mirror a bit to get a clearer look at yourself, but it doesnt work quite well. you take a small water bottle from your bag and pour it onto the rag, you swipe the mirror and it slowly starts to get clear, you step back and just take a look at yourself. you analyze yourself, you look over your $hair hair, and make a face at your beady $eyes eyes. yup! its still you looking back at yourself. you glance at your surroundings through the mirror, its odd, things seem to look brighter in the mirror. [[move on|bathroom]] [img[https://just-a-bug.neocities.org/im/mirror.jpg]]you step over clothing and objects on th floor to get a better look at the pile of clothes that have spilled out of the closest, you kneel down to get a better look at the clothing, covering yur face once again to save yourself from being fumed out by the small. it seems to be a mix of clothes from both people that lived in this room, a combination of sports jerseys, dresses, and miscellaneous t-shirts. you get an overwhelming sense of familiarity, you go to pick up a shirt, and suddenly something underneath scurries deeper into the pile and even more of the rott smell escapes. you think is best to set it back down and [[move on|parents room]]you approuch the big window, it is lightly covered by torn pink drapes, you push them back slightly to see child-like drawn pictures hung up all over the window. [[take a closer look]] [[check out the rest of the room|little girls room]]you weave through the blankets and bedding that have been strewn about the floor, you can almost barely see any carpet. you look up at the big window before you, its mostly boarded up but light peaks through the littl gaps. you bring your face close to the wood and peak out one of the gaps only to realize this isnt just a window, its the doors to a deck! thats cool, lets go look [[elsewhere|parents room]] i want to go on that [[deck]], i need airyou go up to the fish tank, but quickly cover your nose with yur shirt, the smell is so incredibly foul it almost makes you dizzy. you peak over top into the murky water, you dont see anything in there [[move on|little boys room]]A tall and faded dollhouse stands before you, but it looks as though it was once a bright pink. There’s tiny furniture and dolls strewn about the inside of the small broken home [[set them up]]? [[look elsewhere|little girls room]]you crouch down and look at the bear, its covered in dirt and debris, but looks like it was well loved. you pick it up and suddenly feel tears run down your cheek, you whip them away confused, why would you be crying right now? you dont think about it and put the broken bear in your bag along with the $toy. return to [[little girls room]] ive seen enough, [[leave the house|ending 2]]though you feel like you shouldnt, you take a closer look at the ick covered window. theres mold and small little mushrooms growing around the window seal, you notice it had been left slightly open. [[poke the fungus]] [[look somewhere else|little boys room]]you approach the neat, but some how dirty, bed. the stuffed animals look as if they were set in a very specific fashion, like they were being played with before suddenly being left behind. you pick up a shirt, realizing just how small it is makes you sad, i wonder what could have happened to this family. you fold the shirt and place it back on the bed. keep [[looking around|little boys room]]you bend down and pick up the old forgotten $toy, its covered in dirt and the colours are now faded. you examine its details, you notice a name written slopely on the bottom of it, you look a bit closer and realize it spells out $name. what a coincidence. you feel the need to keep it close, almost like theres some other wordly connection between you and this small $toy. [[take it with you?|alt room]] [[set it back down|living room]]you pull and tug at any pece of broken wood thats sticking out, you see quite a big pannel laying to the side and decide to try and use that to move the wood, you pry it between a few pieces and try to push them apart but they arent budgeing. you give it one big hit and you hear things move [[hit again]] [[back away]]you hoist the wood pannel back up and thrust it towards the pile, suddenly all of the broken furniture and half the fireplace come crashing down on you! <<timed 3s>><<goto "died">><</timed>>you take a step back letting the wooden pannel fall to your side, you take a secod to scan over whats moved and decide if you want to try and hit it again, it could be risky but there could be something pretty cool behind it. [[hit again]] nah, ill [[move on|living room]] you try to move, but its no use. you feel the wood spears pierce your skin and break our ribs, some bricks come crashing down onto your head and things get fuzzy, theres no getting out of this. youve been completely burried in broken wood and bits of the fireplace, and just before losing conciousness you glance over at the now open fireplace, hoping to see what you just risked your life for. but all that comes out are a few sticks and a ball that had been blowing with the wind, you pass out. [[pull back]] [[pry]] it offyou look around you for some kind of long tool to stick in the murky water, you decide on a toothbrush, not ideal, but what long object did you expect to find in a bathroom? you kneel back down infront of the tub and slowly stick he end of the toothbrush into the sludge, you swirl it around a little, and suddenly something grabs the toothbrush! its trying to pull it into the water and you lose it Dont want to try that agian, [[move on|bathroom]] now i need to know! stick bare [[hands]] in you pull with all your force, trying to get out of its grip, but instead youre slowly pulling the creature out of the tub! as you pull back you see a barely human like figure coming out of the water, it seems to be entirely made out of goop and mold, you can see big round beady black eyes staring at you through the sludge. you give onemore pull on your arm with all of your strength, but its no use, its grip on you is too tight and youre too weak. it starts to pull back into the water, bringing you with it to become one with the mold. [img[https://just-a-bug.neocities.org/im/died%20(1).gif]] why would you stick your bare hand in a tub of sludge? go back to [[Beginning]] go back to [[bathroom]] you knock a few times, and youre met with something scratching the other side in return. you try the handle a few more times, pushing your weight into the door, hoping to get it open but nothing budges. you decide to try and kick it down, you take a few steps back and prepare yourself, and then with all your strength kick at the door. somethings cracks but the door isnt open yet, you step back again and give one last kick fallingback in the process, and the door flies open! there are no windows in the room and no lights, its a bit scary looking, but theres something walking around inside [[go]] inside, im just too curious [[leave|parents room]], too dark and spooky you back up just a bit and stick your hands through some of the gaps in the boards and pull with all your strength, you hear snapped and then you fall back, the board gave way. theres still some wood blocking the doors but theres enough room to fit, you bend and step over the boards, and take in the cold breeze that hits you upon stepping out. you look down at the flooring of the deck, it looks a bit questionable, but the fresh air feels nice [[continue]] onto the deck [[step back|parents room]]you step, carefully, onto the deck. you hear some creaking but nothing seems to crack, you step to the end and hold onto the railing, beneath you is a huge overgrown backyard. its quite a long backyard, but you can see far out just beyond the fence is woods, it seems so peaceful there. you take on final deep breath of air and close your eyes, before turning back around to go back [[inside|parents room]]you pick yourself back up and slowly step through the door, squinting around the dark room, giving into the curiosity. you can hear little foot steps somewhere infront of you. you crouch down, and through the light of the room behind you, you see a small kitten! you reach your hand out to show your friendly, it inchs close to your hand, then suddenly it hisses and backs further into darkenes. you crawl in a bit to try and find it, but just in the darkness you can see its small shadow contort and grow larger. you pull your hand in and try to back away, but its too late. the small kitten has transformed into a large feline monster, its foaming from the mouth and hissing in your direction, you notice a metal broom on the ground to your side [[fight]] back against the beast with the broom [[retreat]] and run as fast as you can outta there!you quickly get to your feet and grab the broom, you stand tall with the broom out like a sword. the creature is slowly making its way to you, you give one big swing of the broom, but you misses. the feline grabs the end of the broom with its mouth and pulls it out of your grasp, pulling you onto the ground. you look up to meet the creatures eyes, as it devours you. [[pick up drawing]] this is weird, [[look elsewhere|little girls room]]you reach forward and grab the drawing, taking a closer look, man kids make some creepy stuff. you fold it up and put it in your pocket, upon looking back up you notice the picture had been covering a small crack in the window. [[cover it back up with the drapes|little girls room]]you step just a bit closer to the crack in the window, you can feel the cool breeze coming from outside, its nice you havent really realized how hot you had gotten until now. you close your eyes fr a few moments and breath, but suddenly are brought back to reality by something tapping on the window, you snap your yes back open to see a seagul lightly pecking at the hole. [[shoo it away]] [[cover the window up quickly|little girls room]]you tap back on the window and tell the bird to leave, you question why thered even be a seagul here, youre no where near any kind of body of water. the seagul abruptly stops, cranes its head up to look at you. IT SHRIEKS! you step back frieghtened as the seagul starts back up pecking at the hole, faster and more aggressive now. maybe you shouldve left the picture up... [[shoo it away again]] [[get the hell outta there!|ending 2]]you step back closer to the window, angry at this dumb bird now, you bang on the window hoping it scare it away. it looks at you once more and swiftly flys away. whew, good job! you scared the poor bird away! you turn around to look around more, when suddenly a loud crash and a gust of wind come from behind you! before you can even turn around to inspect, 40 billion seaguls swarm the room, and you! you feel them peck and pull at your skin, before you know it theyve fully eaten ou, and fly away. [[please?]] youre right, thats weird, ill [[look at something else|little boys room]]ok... its your choice you pick up one of the gross looking mushrooms and pop it in your mouth. huh. its pretty good! [[move on|little boys room]]You bend down and pick it up and examine it, it's a picture of the boy and some other kids. you look closer, and see the little girl standing next to him, its the first time youve been able to properly see what she looked like. youre taken aback a bit, she looks almost exactly like you! she has your $hair and your bright $eyes eyes, you flip he picture around and notice a list of names for the kids, you quickly scan over them, and right in the middle i written $name, you quickly turn it back around and look back at the girl. yeah, thats you. despite everything, its still you, but how? you feel an overwhelming sense of dread wash over you, you almost throw up, you need you leave. now. [[get outta there!|ending 3]]you run from the boys room, though the hallway, down the stairs, and quickly out the front down. you colapse onto the ground, your knees dig into the dirt. your eyes are shut so tightly as you take numerous deep breathes, you slowly open your eyes and realize youre still gripped onto the picture. you slowly get up an turn around, intending to go put it back inside and leave, but when you turn to look at the house its completely colapsed! how can this be? [[proceed]]you walk up to the front door and look at the messed up crumble of a house, you lightly touch the door an get a rush of memories back. your 6 years old and youre sitting in your bed. your imaginary friend, a tall darkened figure apprpriately named sunshine, sits beside you. "theres a tornado coming, $name" it says to you "i dont know what that is" you lightly reply, colouring a drawing of the two of you, hand in hand "you must get you and your family out. right now" "what?" you respond while looking up at your friend, who has disappeared . [[get your family]]you set your things down and rush too your family "we need to leave now!" you say urgently your family brushes you off, your little brother is sat wih toys in the living room while your father and mother are cooking somthing in a oot in the kitchen. "sweety its almost time for dinner, we'll play later' your mother lightly says, giving you a sweet smile. "no really! its dangerous! we need to go, please!" you pleade, but are given no response. "fine, ill go be myself, you all can meet me outside!" you say, stomping down the stairs to the door you hesitare, but [[open the door]]you throw the door open and run outside, a huge gust of window slams the door closed behind you. you try to walk toward your parents car, but the wind is pushing you in every direction and you fall to the ground. maybe this wasnt a good idea, you make your way back to the door, but right before you make it you get blown back but a huge twister of wind. you fly backwards as the twister ingulfs your home, leaving your family and everything you own crumbled inside.
